They now execute across IDEs, terminals, CI pipelines, sandboxes, and hosted runtimes, and that harness sprawl is breaking the old visibility model, leaving security teams with fragmented records of what agents actually did.

We believe every enterprise should own its system of record for AI agent activity: an open, portable one, not data locked into proprietary schemas and vendor-controlled platforms. Agent Beacon, our open-source telemetry layer, captures and normalizes that activity wherever agents run, and the Asymptote platform builds on it with the managed operations and governance teams need to control agents at scale.

Our founders have known each other for 6 years and worked together for 3 across Level (failed) and Doppel (breakout success). We've seen what amazing and not-so-amazing looks like at the earliest stages. And we've spent our careers accumulating deep experience solving some of the world's hardest problems in cybersecurity threat detection and payments infrastructure.

At Doppel, Justin led ML infrastructure efforts from the ground up, scaling their systems from 1M to 1B+ domains/day to stop malicious internet threats before they became customer incidents. Shukan led SOC automation efforts and pioneered the use of agentic AI to drive automated threat hunting detections, saving thousands of analyst hours.
